Hart Energy Research & Consulting seeks a Research Analyst, Asia to join our Singapore team. Hart Energy Research & Consulting offers clients a unique array of services in a fast-paced consulting environment, ultimately helping them tackle complex business problems. Based in Singapore, this is a full-time, junior position reporting directly to the Director of the International Fuel Quality Center (IFQC) service.
Monitor and analyze, perform data research, write/update reports and prepare presentations on the region's fuel quality and vehicle emission policies and specifications, and related information.
Interact at all levels with Hart Energy's clients and contacts across the globe, many of whom are senior executives in leading multinational companies, as well as industry leaders and policymakers throughout Asia.
Support the Fuels & Transport division and other divisions of Hart Energy Research & Consulting, as and when directed
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Science, Engineering, Policy or International Affairs (Chemistry or Chemical Engineering an advantage)
Experience or knowledge of the refining, fuels, environment and/or automotive will be an advantage.
Strong analytical skills
Skills in self time management in a dynamic work environment with changing priorities and deadlines
Ability to multitask in a high-energy environment
Knowledge of legislative procedures and regulatory systems an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in Chinese to liaise with Chinese speaking clients
Fluency in other Asian languages will be an advantage
Light traveling could be required
